Container Gardening

I love the concept of container gardening.  There are some cool ideas out there…  (Pinterest is a great place to start)  and that was my project this weekend.  And by my, I mean my husband’s.  I am no longer allowed to hang things myself because I use the wrong tools and hang everything all wonky and unlevel :)  Alas, I am no carpenter.

And this is what I came up with for my little herb garden!

These coconut hair baskets are actually made to hang over a deck railing and not intended to be hung up on a fence (or constructed in a way that makes it easy to do so!) but after much MacGyvering… Chris was able to get them up on the fence the way I wanted them.  And that’s the short version of the story :)  I still have a few things to hang, but I am supremely happy with the nearly finished product!!
